I have about 1200 miles on them, plus three 20 minute sessions at Road America. They are clearly worn at the outside edges (not enough camber) but still have good life in them and are not at the wear bars. I did not shave my tires, I just counted on repeated street use to toughen up the rubber and wear it down to the point where it would not chunk. I was either right or lucky because indeed they did not chunk. The tires are very good on the street. With mild or warm weather, the grip is outstanding. In cold weather, grip is not very good; I get a lot of tire hop with just a normal launch when the temps are near freezing. The Victoracer V700 is "yesterday's fast tire". The V710 will make you more competitive, but at the expense of faster tire wear. If I had a good way to transport a second set of wheels, I would not bother with the V700, I would go with V710.
